Mansfield Masonic Lodge #331
Mansfield Masonic Lodge was establish in June of 1871, before the City of Mansfield was even established. Some of our founding members were Julian Field and Ralph Man, who the town was named after.
Several of our early members were instrumental in establishing the public education system in Mansfield and even formed and held prominent positions on the School Board.
Although the exact location of our very first building in Mansfield is not quite known, we do know that in the early 1900’s we moved into the building at the Northwest corner of Broad St. and Main St. Our Square and Compasses emblem can still be seen towards the top of the building. We remained in that building until the early 1980’s when we moved to our current location.
Our Community Involvement
Mansfield Lodge takes pride in everything we do within the community like participating in the Mansfield Pickle Parade, Fantastic Teeth, or the Backpack program. Just as the men who founded this lodge so many years ago, we understand the importance of community, and strive to continue to grow and seek additional opportunities to help improve this great city of Mansfield and build up its residents.
- College Scholarships – This is very near and dear to our hearts, helping students from the community go to College and chase their dreams. Throughout the year we raise money through donations and fund raising which allows us to give these scholarships to graduating high school seniors. We understand the importance of the pursuance of knowledge and self-improvement. We are very excited to help out in any way we can, and will continue to contribute to this cause.
Feed The Public Servants – Since 2008, we have opened our building for 24 hours straight feeding all public servants a free meal. This is our way of showing our appreciation and gratitude to the men and women who sacrifice so much for all of us, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.
